Hua Hin Kitesurfing School is KBA’s first kite school in Thailand. The wind in Hua Hin is good all year around and is the best for kitesurfing lesson. KBA discovered Hua Hin 10 years ago and within the years managed to make Hua Hin to be the most popular place for kiteboarding in Thailand. Hua Hin is the oldest beach town resort in Thailand and has the royal summer palace of the HRH King Phumiphon of Thailand located here. For this reason the town has kept its unique charm and its beautiful beaches.
A 5 km of long beach makes Hua Hin as the best place to learn kitesurfing in Thailand. Hua Hin has the longest windy season in Thailand Almost all year around. Add to that, flat water, wide swallow sandy beach, white fine sand, a lot of sun, and a convenient location just 180km south of Bangkok. In the summer months the beach opens up to around 100 meters in width during low tide. There is 40 km of coastline north and south of Hua Hin awaiting discovery. All this makes Hua Hin as the biggest destination for kitesurfing in all Asia. Hua Hin is also our main test center in Thailand for cabrinha Airush kites and boards. KBA also manage to writ here name in the history of kitesurfing in Thailand and Asia by organizing the 1st kiteboarding world cup in Asia PKRA (professional kiteboarding rider associations), which was happening in hua hin on 16-mar-2010 and will keep happening every year in around this month.

October through January – the northeasterly monsoons, wind ranging from 8-20 knots side onshore. The wind blows in cycles averaging 6-10 days at a time. Wind is generally strongest in the morning, decreasing over the day. Wind direction is generally northerly in the morning turning slowly around to the northeast over the day.
February to mid May – Sea breezes 12-20 knots side onshore, kicking in around 11:00, building until around 18:00 then decreasing as the sun goes down.
Mid May to October – the south westerly monsoons producing gusty offshore wind and some days with rainy but not every day we are still getting 50% days with good SE Sea breeze Sid on shore wind.
